We have invested in the latest cloud computing technology via Google Apps for Education which allows us instant access to resources anywhere at any time. It can be found by clicking the link on the homepage or by visiting www.hitchinboys.co.uk. The site contains additional public information for parents and students which supplements that which is on the main website.
By linking this to our in-house management information system teachers and students are able to access an email service and document sharing facility, amongst other services. Students, Staff and Governors can all access Gmail and Google Drive documents from the Learning Platform homepage once logged in. Staff and Students can create, share and edit files in real time. Teachers and Students can work on documents, spreadsheets and presentations, on any computer, tablet or mobile device, at any time and wherever they choose. Files are saved automatically and stored in the Cloud.
