This is the latest information we have received from Thameslink about the services that will be running on strike days next week (Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd and Saturday 25th June), covering the service to and from Hitchin:

Train service summary on Tuesday 21st, Thursday 23rd and Saturday 25th June 2022

Please note that on RMT strike days (21st, 23rd, 25th June) the network will be open between approximately 07:00 and 19:00 only. The first and last trains will be later and earlier than these times respectively. Customers will need to plan and check their journeys carefully and the first and last trains are expected to be very busy.

Services between King’s Cross and Peterborough / Cambridge / Ely

King’s Cross and Ely

One train per hour will run between King’s Cross and Ely, calling at King’s Cross, Finsbury Park, Potters Bar, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn North, Knebworth, Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Baldock, Ashwell & Morden, Royston, Meldreth, Shepreth, Foxton, Cambridge, Cambridge North, Waterbeach, Ely only.

King’s Cross and Cambridge

One train per hour will run between King’s Cross and Cambridge, calling at King’s Cross, Finsbury Park, Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Baldock, Ashwell & Morden, Royston and Cambridge only.

King’s Cross and Peterborough

Two trains per hour will run between King’s Cross and Peterborough, calling at King’s Cross, Finsbury Park, Stevenage, Hitchin, Arlesey, Biggleswade, St Neots, Huntingdon and Peterborough only.

Journey planners such as www.nationalrail.co.uk will show exact train times and are expected to be updated by tomorrow with the timetable for strike days. Journey planners are then planned to be updated on Saturday 18th June with the timetable for the days after each strike day: Wednesday 22th, Friday 24th and Sunday 26th June.
