Founders' Day

Our annual celebration of the founding of both Hitchin Boys' and Girls' schools takes place today. Students inYears 7 to 10 will take part in a variety of house activities in school during the day. Years 11 and 13 will congregate at St Mary's Church for a service of music and readings. The names of the founders and benefactors will be read to open the service and we feel that this is a fitting occasion to mark either the end of compulsory schooling or the time for moving on.
